Torshov Bar Club presents "Beer Run", a skateboard film by Alex Holm
The film will premiere on January 25th at Trekanten Bar in Oslo.
“Beer Run” features a group of friends normally seen at Torshov Skatepark, as they leave their normal stomping grounds to skate and buy beers beyond the borders of Torshovdalen. They left the skatepark, the city, and even the county on their journey.
Betongpark had a conversation with film maker Alex Holm, and asked him about his thoughts on the film. –
What I like about this film is that it sheds light on the wonderful souls contributing to a thriving skateboarding community in Torshovdalen. Many of whom have never had a video part before and that you may have missed seeing good footage of. The film really reflects that we had a blast and a really good time making it. The focus is on the good vibes we have on trips, at events and at our local Torshov ramp.
Torshov Bar Club emerged from this community. From under the ramp where we sat years ago with warm beer and cold hands, ordering our first koozies with our logo on them. I´ve only used music from Norwegian and German artists that I enjoy listening to myself. And most important for me, I have made a film that I can watch ten years from now and say: ”Damn, that was a great summer!”, says film maker Alex Holm.

Join us on Saturday night at Trekanten at 20:00 for a night filled with film, live music, a pop-up shop with merch, the classic TBC limbo challenge on the dance floor, and raffles with giveaways from Final Supplies, Dickies, ACE, Madson, and Torshov Bar Club.
