Skateboard festival over 5 days in the capital of Norway with skaters from all over the world. Long and light days with great spots makes Oslo one of the most unique skates scenes in the world.
Street skate edit contest Get together a team of 3-5 skaters, a filmer and join the street skate edit contest with cash prizes for the top three edits. Don’t have a team? The festival will also include other challenges and parties for everyone without registration: Challenges, social activities, parties, skate jam, premiere, afterparty and more.

Midnight Skate Fest 2023
Main contest. The main contest is a street skate edit contest, with a registration of a team. The team is required to follow the rules and film an edit from Tuesday-Saturday around Oslo in order to win the big prize. Top ten edits will be premiered on Saturday July 1st, followed by announcments of winners and a grand afterparty. Check out our YouTube channel to see the previous edits.
3-5 skaters per team
2-5 minute long edit
Must be filmed in Oslo in the period of June 27th-July 1st
Must include criterias and challenges in order to receive points. Will be published closer to event.
No requirements to skills or camera. Can be filmed with iPhone, but the level is high.
Top three edits win the cash prizes in addition to other individual categories.
Daily challenges. There will be one additional challenge everyday that is open to the public and possible for anyone to join without registration. Cash prizes and other great prizes from our sponsors.
Social activities & parties. There will be activites and/or parties every night. Stay tuned for public program to see if you can join! Some activities are only for registered riders in the main contest.
Workshop. We are more than excited to be offering a free workshop for kids & youths that want to learn how to film skate and make edits on their phones. More info coming soon. Send us an e-mail if you or your kids are interested in this. Age limit: 18.
Skate Jam. Saturday July 1st we will be at Mølleparken for our infamous Skate Jam with categories: kids, girls and senior. There will be music, prizes in all categories and goodiebags for all the kids.
